Today I want to share with you one of the tools that I use to make great visual posts.
When thinking of graphic design tools the first name that comes to mind is probably the ADOBE suite of products now available by subscription. Now, this is all well and good but most of us are not graphic designers and we don’t have the time to learn how to use Photoshop and Illustrator so we need to look for an alternative option. One that is easy to use and cost effective.
Have you ever heard of Canva? This is a great free tool for those who want to produce their own image posts for all the main players on the social platforms. Not only can you design posts, but posters; flyers; timeline covers; cards; infographics…..
When on a budget it is very satisfying to find apps that are free, yes FREE. The only time you will pay is if you use any of the paid elements and they are all only $1.00 each.
You upload your images and play with shapes; lines; text and colours; overlays etc. It has a very easy user interface. All you need to do is spend a couple of hours playing and you will be on your way to constructing great visuals.
This week Canva launched Canva for Work giving you more options such as working with a team; being able to save images into specific folders and having one place to store your brand kit/s. Still very reasonable at $9.95 per month if you pay for the year.
Here’s one I created earlier 🙂
